WITHOUT WARNING'S WEEKLY THREE

Updated: Dec 3, 2020

With a mass influx of vastly different music storming the Capital Region, I dive into three tracks that are necessary additions to your playlist!

SAKS (LongLiveLo) – Blick

Albany native Blick delivers a more melodic presence on the tribute to lost Albany legend "Lo". Blick celebrating the life of his friend through his unique harmonically-rich approach. The 30gang affiliate delivering successive punchlines surrounding doing all he can to help put his team on through the pain + tribulations. Blick spits, "I been through a lot of shit, no I can't show no love, pain I felt a lot of it, yeah that shit it be tough." It's notable bars like these that lead me to spinning the rack over and over again. More from Blick:

TRENDSETTER – Velli Vell (Feat. Ohzhe + B. Chaps)

Launching into our second track, "Trendsetter" is a lowkey Upstate visual which is a necessary spin. All three creatives taking a more traditional laid-back New York approach, rapping at your head for days. Velli delivering impactful bars like, "I gotta be the strongest for my ancestors, the way I grew up be a trendsetter, and be more than just a band member, this a movie and I orchestrate with cash members". Matched with an unforgettable Ohze verse, where in the eye grabbing visual, the two go bar for bar over a game of chess. Producing a track full of some of the best lyrical content to come out the area this year. More from Vell + Ohzhe:

COST YA – K.N.D

I first becoming familiar with K.N.D through the locally viral Wednesday freestyles, since then he's only shown artistic growth. On the Guitar strung melody, K.N.D floats over the entire instrumental. Showcasing his vastly intriguing vocal range. While simultaneously delivering raw lyrical content, displaying an introspective conversation about everyday problems and encounters in his life. Cultivating a track perfect for your next playlist, a well-rounded underground heater full of substance. More from K.N.D:
